Well Hung Food was set up in 2012 as a way for me to publish some of my experiments into curing and smoking.
After some positive feedback and strangers trying out some of the techniques I decided to focus on proper recipes which would get people cooking. I started to move away from charcuterie and the recipies became more varied.
There were many ups and downs but 2015 was a pretty bad year for the site. My host permanently deleted nearly two years of content and left a barely functioning shell afterwards. Sadly I was too busy with work and travelling to rebuild for a while.
In 2016 the site was rebuilt from scratch and launched with a bang.
